Michael Wakeling “has been around a long time. I prefer being the underdog.” – Danny Edwards Interview with K1ANOOP following the recent announcement of Michael Wakeling vs. Danny Edwards in April 2019 by Muay Thai Grand Prix for the (vacant) 76.7kg world championship title and much more.

Widely regarded as the best British Muay Thai & Kickboxing fighter of his generation, Michael Wakeling will be returning to Muay Thai after two years of inactivity (come April 2019 for, Wakleing vs Edwards) since his last fight against, Dutch Kickboxing veteran, Marco Pique, at Tanko Muay Thai League in early 2017. Whilst Danny Edwards who, fights out of K-Star Legacy Gym under the coaching of Damien Trainor, has been fighting more frequently in recent years.
