Am emphatic TKO victory for the ‘Babyface Ninja’ who, dominated the fight in the unfinished opening round. Zakaria Zouggary vs. Massaro Glunder, 65kg:

Winner: Zouggary def. Glunder by unanimous decision.

Tyjani Beztati vs. Yodkhunpon Sitmonchai, 70kg:

First two rounds: Nice moments by both fighters and Yod Sitmonchai’s head movement has been good at avoiding some speedy hooks and punches from Beztati. (Third round was preparing for interviews).

Eyevan Danenberg vs. Wellington Iega, 77kg:

Round 1:

Winner: Eyevan Danenberg by Rd2 KO (after three knockdowns before).

Kevin Hessling vs. Stoyan Koprivlenski, 73kg catchweight:

Round 1:

An active opening round with Stoyan growing as the round went on but Hessling started off the first round looking quite handy with his boxing for Kickboxing.

Round 2:

Tempo/pace of the fight noticeably decreased but the fight va still go either way though.

Round 3:

Both fighter put in anothe shift but Kevin seemed to perhaps been the more active of the two with his volume of striking.

Winner: Kevin Hessling via unanimous decision.

GLORY 45 Undercard (3×3 mins rounds) – Results:

Kevin van Heeckeren draws with Mike Sprangh:
Very exciting first round with van Heeckeren starting off brilliantly dictating the opening round until caught with a powerful knee by Sprangh resulting in a knockdown.

A close fight in the end but Kevin managed to get back into the fight in rounds two and theee as Sprangh’s energy levels seemed to hold him back from capitalising on the earlier knockdown that had van Heeckeren rocked.

Both young fighters are highly talented kickboxers and a future rematch is inevitable as they both develop their careers (hopefully) with GLORY. Follow these two closely and remember their names.

Jakob Styben def. Mo Amine by decision – Reserve bout for Light-heavyweight Contender Tournament.

Anil Cabri def. Brahim Boukerch by technical equipment failure (lost mouthgaurd and didn’t have replacement in corner).

GLORY 45: Yousri Belgaroui wants to see if his “knee fits in” Jason Wilnis’s “mouth”

Yousri Belgaroui is on the verge of (re)securing his title-shot against GLORY middleweight champion, Simon Marcus. However, former champion, Jason Wilnis, is the last man standing before him come GLORY 45 Amsterdam tomorrow and the “Babyface Ninja” was in defiant mood after both fighters faced-off at the weigh-ins today.

“He looked fearful and smelt fearful. I feel that I’m now 1-0 in-front.” Belgaroui remarked. “I think I sense that in his eyes. I’m just gonna dominate him, three rounds, all night long; Lionel Ritchie style.”

“I’m gonna hit him from a distance, hit him hard when he try to come close, I’m gonna hit him even harder, see if my knee fits in his mouth.”

The 24 year old had been frustrated in past months after winning the 4-man Contender Tournament at GLORY 40 by defeating Alex Pereira in the final. Winning the tournament usually secures the winner with a title-fight against the champion in their next bout but not for Belgaroui who, was left disgruntled, after it was announced that Pereira would challenge Marcus next, for the title at GLORY 46 China.

“At first I didn’t like it but I set that aside because I think its a very logical step now to fight Wilnis. He’s number one ranked, I’m number two ranked. So not especially for me but for the fans, the fighting fans, for them it’s logical I think to see: Like ok, he can beat Wilnis and now he’s really ready for the title.”

Belgaroui’s rise over the last couple of years from, fighting domestically in the Netherlands to, competing in Europe and now for GLORY has been remarkable. Since signing for the promotion in 2016, Yousri has always been focused on dethroning Simon Marcus for the championship but before him stands the resilient and more experienced Jason Wilnis, in what will most certainly be the sternest test of the hometown fighter’s career to-date.

Andrew Tate Mocks Depression, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) & Transgenders | The K1Anoop Show

Andrew Tate is a multiple world kickboxing champion who, has recently been (and still is) making controversial comments on social media about: depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and mocking transgenders.

Tate is no stranger to controversy especially for tweeting his strong opinions on Twitter; and on this occasion, not only was he reported by national news outlets (again); he also received mass condemnation (and surprising support) for offending countless people about sexual/gender identity and mental health issues which, we cover on this episode of, The K1Anoop Show.

Not long before the former Enfusion Live champion was embroiled in another national scandal, Tate had announced on Facebook (but the post is no longer available) that he would be making a return to kickboxing in December 2017; and that further details would follow once negotiations had progressed.

“Cobra Tate” had also confirmed via social media that he had recently returned to training and sparring in-preparation for another comeback. Tate last fought and lost his Enfusion world title by TKO against, Ibrahim El Boustati at Enfusion Live 44. It will be interesting to see if and when a return date to the ring is confirmed in the near future and if it could possibly be a rematch with El Boustati for the 90kg Enfusion championship.
