Fight Night St Tropez update: Bobb Sapp attacked Greg Tony after drink thrown at him

Bobb Sapp vs. Greg Tony will clash later tonight at Fight Night St Tropez 2017 but things kicked-off earlier than planned after the Frenchman was filmed throwing a drink at full force at Sapp who, in-retaliation, attacked Tony.

The incident had happened yesterday at the public weigh-ins but footage hadn’t emerged online until earlier today via Fightmag.

British heavyweight, Daniel Sam can also be seen at the beginning of the clip above and he also features on the over fight card for Fight Night St Tropez against, Tomas Mozny.

However, there’s no smoke without fire as Sapp had been up-to his old provocative ways earlier this week when the pair of K-1 veterans went face-to-face at one of the hotels being used for the event.

The annual kickboxing extravaganza also features a couple of other fighters associated with GLORY Kickboxing in, Yohan Lidon, Filip Verlinden and Danyo Ilunga (also in the background of the filmed incident)

Lion returns to action since his defeat to Yoann Kongolo at GLORY 42 Paris and will be making a defence of his WKN super-middleweight title against, Florian Kroger, in the main event of this year’s, Fight Night St Tropez, whilst Tony vs. Sapp will co-headline.
